Welcome to Bellance
As an applied psychologist specializing in behavior, I understand why and how people think, behave, and feel, and I strive to align them with their families and work environments.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology and a specialization in Work and Organizational Psychology in Amsterdam, I have had the opportunity to share social skills with children with developmental and behavioral issues. I am also proud to have almost 5 years of experience in social work for child protection services and have now been counseling for 6 years.
My Conscious Discipline and Positive Discipline methods have helped me to support parents in cultivating discipline.
My professional experience has been deeply shaped by my own personal struggles. After losing my mother at the age of twelve, I wrote and self-published ‘Nameless,’ a poetry collection to help others transcend similar hardships. I use mostly psychological and social interventions to help improve mental health and am passionate about helping individuals, families, and organizations maximize their potential
"For me, being a psychologist is
a calling. I believe that my purpose in life is to guide people like you to happiness and finding peace from within."
Applied Psychology
As a trained counselor with an extensive knowledge in psychological theories. l am skilled in assessing why people behave the way they do as well as what and who influences their thinking, behaviors and feelings.
Work & Organizational Psychology
I aim to achieve an optimal alignment between people, their work and their organization. I focus on the employees, the team and the entire organization. I give workshops on various subjects, for example ‘open communication on the work floor’ to employees and ‘leadership skills’ to managers.
Neuropsychology
During this course I studied how our brain affect our behaviors, emotions and learning.
Conscious Discipline
Conscious Discipline is an evidence-based, trauma-informed approach. The core methodology is based on four essential components that are scientifically and functionally designed for success. This method of discipline that eliminates the need for the reward and punishment approach. It is intended to create stronger communication between people. within families. Conscious Discipline gives people a voice and empowers them with the ability and help to achieve life skills.
